All The Ways
Mike's debut original album ‘All The Ways’ (released December 2012) is a solo acoustic guitar journey crossing a few genres along the way. Styles range from the album’s dominant folk fingerpicking to romantic classical, with elements of rock and dance. The music is also very lyrical in style, with simple melodies supported by intricate harmonic accompaniment and rhythmic foot-tapping and thumb-slapping. Influences range from Chopin, Debussy and Piazzolla, to guitarists Julian Bream, Michael Hedges and John Renbourn, to song-writers Elliott Smith, Lou Reed and Brian Wilson.

Mike's classical guitar album presents some of the most beautiful music from around the world arranged for the classical guitar. The pieces originate from three areas encompassing traditional spanish themes and french impressionism, both of which serve to influence the later latin american styles.
